Discussion
Salivary gland anlage tumor, also known as congenital pleomorphic adenoma, is an epithelial hamartoma. This lesion is often pedunculated, connected by a thin stalk to the posterior nasal septum or nasopharynx. Patients are more often male and present with symptoms of respiratory distress, feeding difficulty, or nasal obstruction. Surgical resection is curative.
